Sourdough Pumpkin Bread

Vegan, Oil-free


1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 

1 tsp baking soda 

1/2 tsp baking powder 

1/4 tsp salt 

1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice 

1/2 cup sourdough starter 

1 1/2 cup pumpkin purée 

1 cup sugar 

1 tsp vanilla 

1/2 tsp ACV

Preheat the oven to 350F

In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients very well 

In a medium sized bowl, mix all the wet ingredients well 

Add the wet ingredients to the dry, and mix until just combined

Pour batter into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper 

Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean 

Top with maple pepitas, maple pecan crumble, cinnamon sugar, or go topless!
